The suggester says; "I instantly fell in love with this B&W photo. It feels and looks like a painting or a drawing because of the light tones and the abundant light that gives the model an almost intangible and angel like feel."

Vision: The photo itself is very beautiful to look at. The model is posed enough to be a nice photo, but not so much that it seems unnatural. The paleness of the image gives a very angelic feel to it. I think a little too much texture was washed out of the front arm, making it seem a little out of place, but it's not noticeable unless you've been looking at the picture for a while.

Originality: To be honest, that sort of pose I've seen many a time before, in both colour and greyscale. You could've been much more creative with the pose. I have to say I haven't seen lighting used in this way before. It's very different to most greyscale pictures in the way it almost looks like a pencil drawing. It's very creative and original.

Technique: I don't think I can fault the technique in this picture. The pose, although unoriginal, is pretty much perfect, and, as I've said before, the lighting is superb.

Impact: It's very impactive in the way it is presented. The lighting is attention grabbing and it keeps you looking at the photo. The pencil-like quality attracts our curiosity, leaving us trying to discern whether it's photo or drawing! It could've been improved by an original pose, but the pose does not detract from the image.

Overall, a very nice photo and well deserving of a DD!
